Who run the world?! THESE GIRLS!
CongratuLATIONS MADDIE, BRIANNON & COLLETTE! University of New Hampshire Class of 2021!! AHHHH!!!!
These ladies were a BLAST to work with! Hands down one of the most entertaining sessions I’ve ever done. It was the first day of a heatwave, but you’d never know it by the pictures. Their poise and friendship-which started back in the FOURTH grade- provided many laughs and some very candid pictures.Â
I’ve photographed several families, many many young children and babies, yet this is the first time I’ve had someone eat a dandelion. No, not even the yellow flower, but the Pappi. (haha yes I just looked it up and that’s actually the name of a dandelion when it’s all white and puffy.) No, I’m not sure why she did it… Maybe she wanted ALL the wishes…. But what I’m even more baffled by, is how someone can be so gorgeous while doing so!Â
Despite the hilarity of that moment, I think my favorite instance, was when one of the girls, who may or may not have left her champagne in the HOT CAR, walked up in front of the wildcat statue, and JUST as I turned my camera on, Collette exclaimed that she didn’t know what she was doing, and THE CORK SHOT OFF THE BOTTLE,
    AND HIT
    BRI
    IN.Â
    THE.
  FOREHEAD!
To be completely honest, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time, and the pictures are priceless. I encourage you to find the cork in the picture. I promise it’s there. Haha!
It was an honor to be chosen to help them bid a meaningful farewell to an incredible place that has been their home for the past four years. I can’t think of a better way to start Rooted Family Photography than with them.Â
